Editorial policy
Where the facts on orientalcherry.co come from, what we will not claim about lights, candles or kits, and how to report a mistake.
The people who run the Oriental Cherry catalog write every page on orientalcherry.co. Here is how a fact gets onto a page.
Facts about the products
Heights, lengths, pack counts, what lights up and how it is powered are taken from our own product data, one piece at a time. A figure printed for one tree is never carried over to another: if a piece publishes no bulb count, its page prints none.
The photographs show our own products. Pictures with slogans, arrows or measurement charts printed over them stay off the site. The film on the home page is cut from our own clips and photographs of the range.
What we do not claim
We do not call a cord or a bulb certified unless we can show the mark, we do not promise that a light-up piece is safe to leave on overnight, and we do not call a kit safe for an age younger than the one printed on its box. Where a page talks about trees, lights, candles or small parts, it names the public source it relies on, and the date we read each source is printed beside it.
Corrections
If a height, a count, a price or a sentence here is wrong, write to porchlight@orientalcherry.co. We fix the page and the product data behind it.
