October porch and party
14 products 10 kinds from $9.99 props, cauldrons, brooms and candles
Start at the door. The 11.5 ft hovering witch and the 6 ft root of evil are the two props that move and make noise when someone walks past, the large cauldron hangs from a 54 inch tripod with green light inside, and the broom parking sign leans three wooden brooms against the wall beside it. The black terracotta jack-o'-lanterns are made by hand in three sizes, from 7.5 to 15 inches tall, and glow once you set a flameless candle inside.
Inside, the light-up ghost mirror reads as a plain mirror until it is switched on, the skeleton candle is a soy wax candle with a skeleton taking a bath on top, and the cauldron serving bowls hold the snacks. For the costume contest there are golden skeleton trophies in sets of four and six.
These 14 pieces are part of the Oriental Cherry seasonal lineup, from $9.99 to $142.49 in our last catalog update.
Questions
Both have a sensor. The 11.5 ft hovering witch reacts to sound or a touch, and the 6 ft root of evil lights its head, moves and makes sound when its sensor is set off.
Use a flameless candle or a string of lights instead. Fire services advise a battery candle in a jack-o'-lantern, and ours are made to glow that way.
Candy for the trick-or-treaters, or nothing at all: the cauldron has green lights inside and looks full when they are on. The lights run on AA batteries.
