Strips of vintage and new fabric, lace and trim make up this rag American flag, and each one is made by hand. Hang it under a covered porch roof, or bring it inside as a wall hanging over the couch from Memorial Day through the 4th.
The flag measures 4 by 2.3 ft. A wide sleeve takes whatever stick or dowel you have on hand, and twine comes in the pack for hanging. Keep it under cover outdoors, since loose fabric strips and lace are better off out of the rain. Indoors, a single nail holds the twine.
