Out by the front path, a black cauldron hangs from a 54 inch tripod with green string lights spilling over the rim like a bubbling potion. Anyone walking up to your door sees the green glow well before they reach the steps.
The tripod is made of thickened iron pipe, and the cauldron measures 12.5 x 7 inches with a shiny black finish. The lights need 3 AA batteries. Set the legs on level ground in the yard or on the porch, and the green shows best once the sky turns dark.
The Witches Cauldron on 54 Inch Tripod sits on the Halloween shelf of the Oriental Cherry catalog.
It runs on batteries, so there is no cord or outlet to check. Switch it off when you go to bed or leave the house, keep it clear of paper decorations and dried greenery, and take the batteries out when it goes back in its box after the holiday.
